About Aesthetic Antidote

Our Mission

Becoming a paramedical tattoo artist isn’t just about learning a skill it’s about creating a high-income, repeat client career with purpose.

Most paramedical tattoo procedures require a 4–6 week touch-up and refresh annually. What does that mean for you?
Built-in client retention. Your clients don’t disappear, they return year after year.

At an average of $600 per service for a 2–3 hour appointment, this career offers one of the strongest income-to-time ratios in the aesthetics industry.

Let’s talk real numbers.

  • One client per day, Monday–Friday
    $600 per client = $3,000 weekly
    $12,000 monthly
    $144,000 annually

Now imagine scaling as your confidence and demand grow:

  • Four clients per day, no weekends
    $2,400 per day
    $12,000 weekly
    $48,000 monthly
    $576,000 annually

This isn’t commission-based work.
This isn’t relying on walk-ins.
This is a licensed, specialized skill with high demand, medical credibility, and long term income stability.

Our apprenticeship teaches you how to master the technique, work safely in a medical grade environment, price correctly, and build a sustainable client base—so you’re not guessing your way into success.

You’re not just learning to tattoo.
You’re learning how to build a career that pays, lasts, and changes lives.

And the impact you make for your clients?
That’s priceless.

Apprentice Information

Program Requirements

Before working on live clients, applicants must be certified in at least one Permanent Makeup service, either online or in person.
✔ Online certifications are accepted.

A $200 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot in the program.

Tuition & Program Length

How much is the Tattoo Apprenticeship Program?
Tuition is $24,000 for a 12–14 month apprenticeship, with up to two years allowed to complete all requirements.

Apprenticeship Hours

How many hours are required?
The State of Connecticut Tattoo License requires 2,000 apprenticeship hours.

Do all hours need to be completed in the studio?
No. Apprenticeship hours are earned through a combination of:

  • Working on live clients

  • Practice on fake skin

  • Assigned homework and educational videos

  • In-studio observation, assisting, and shadowing

The more time and effort you invest, the faster your skills grow and the stronger your portfolio becomes.

Hours are tracked weekly using official logs and totaled to meet the 2,000-hour state requirement.

Working on Clients

When can I begin working on clients?
Once you have completed:

  • Your Permanent Makeup certification

  • Red Cross Bloodborne Pathogen Certification

  • Adult CPR & First Aid

We will apply for your State Permit. Once approved, you may begin working on clients under the apprenticeship.

Charging Clients as an Apprentice

Can I charge clients during my apprenticeship?
Yes—and we strongly encourage it.

Many apprentices charge $300 or more per client, plus tips, allowing the program to begin paying for itself while you train.

Payment Structure

  • A deposit is due at enrollment to secure your position

  • Tuition may be divided into monthly payments of approximately $1,850, totaling $24,000

  • Failure to make payments will result in termination from the program without refund

Refund Policy

Deposits are non-refundable after the enrollment deadline.

Class Size & Mentorship

Apprenticeship classes are intentionally kept small—no more than three students at a time—to ensure:

  • Individualized instruction

  • Direct feedback

  • True one-on-one mentorship

This is hands-on training, not a crowded classroom experience.

Why Choose This Career?

Permanent Makeup and paramedical tattooing offer exceptional income potential and long-term career stability. This apprenticeship provides the skills, confidence, and real-world experience needed to build a successful, independent practice.
